Sheet Music
Sheet music is available at the first rehearsal. All sheet music is purchased and is covered by copyright. There is not a requirement to turn in the music at the end of the term although it is appreciated and we will return the music to our library for use in future terms.
If you will be returning the music to our library, feel free to 3-hole punch your sheet music and to markup notations on the sheet music with pencil (no pens, please!). We recommend writing the number of each measure on the sheet music to help find your place during rehearsals. After the last performance, erase the markups before turning in the sheet music for the library and future reuse. Bring cleaned up sheet music to turn in at rehearsal in the subsequent term.
Alternatively, you may print from MuseScore showing your part on a separate line, markup in pen and color at will, and not turn it in. In addition to writing the measure numbers, we recommend writing the page numbers from the original sheet music onto MuseScore printouts at the corresponding measure number to help find your place during rehearsals.
Choir Binder (optional)
Choir binders to hold sheet music are lightweight and have a hand strap for one-handed use and may be purchased online (e.g., musicfolder.com). Using a regular black binder is fine, too.
