Our Mission
The Community Women’s Chorus is an ensemble of dedicated singers who are devoted to performing uplifting choral music to those in senior living facilities and memory care centers. We perform at facilities in Los Altos, Mountain View, Cupertino, Palo Alto, and Menlo Park.
We’re proud to be a fiscally sponsored project of the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation’s Local Impact Collective.
Come Sing With Us!
Our non-audition chorus welcomes members of the Bay Area community who love to sing and want to share in the warm camaraderie we enjoy. We learn many uplifting choral compositions while receiving instruction in voice and musicianship.
Our concerts offer the gift of music to appreciative senior audiences and enrich our lives as we sing in service to others.
Rehearsals
We rehearse on Monday afternoons from noon to 2:15 pm. While our usual space at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto is being remodeled, we are currently rehearsing at either the Los Altos Community Center or the Mountain View Community Center and end at 2:05 pm. (See rehearsal schedule.)
Spring 2026 quarter starts April 6 with concerts June 8 and 15.
Our chorus takes a break for the summer.
Fall dates September - December 2026 and location are to be determined.
Winter dates January - March 2027 and location are to be determined.
If you would like to get more information, please send your contact information to communitywomenschorus@gmail.com.
Be well, stay healthy and keep singing!
